Terms of Use
Updated 17 August 2026
These terms govern the use of this website. They do not govern any engagement between People by Design and a client, which is set out in a separate written agreement.
Purpose of this site
This website describes the services People by Design offers and publishes editorial content about organisation design and management systems. It is intended as information, not as advice for a specific situation.
No professional advice
The models, articles and templates published here are general in nature. They are not legal, employment, tax or financial advice, and they do not account for the circumstances of any particular organisation. Decisions taken on the basis of this content are your own, and where a decision has legal or regulatory consequences you should take qualified advice.
Intellectual property
The content, structure, models and design of this site belong to People by Design unless stated otherwise. You may read, quote with attribution and link to it. You may not republish substantial parts of it, or present it as your own work, without written permission.
Enquiries
Sending an enquiry through this site does not create a contract or a professional relationship. A relationship begins only when both parties sign a written agreement setting out scope, fees and terms.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available and accurate but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every page reflects the most current position. Content and these terms may be updated without notice; the date at the top shows when this document last changed.
External links
Where we link to another organisation, we do so because we consider the material useful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and the courts of Portugal have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from the use of this website.
